So far verification in image burn is the slowest. You can look up the specs of the computer at the HP web site. It is the default one that came with my HP computer. The DVD Writer of mine is not in the list. Just my computer slowing down trying to multi-task as usual. I have not been having any problems with this media. I went out and bought verbatim DL 2.4x and so far with that bunch it has been perfect since disc one. In other words it would not write to the second layer with out allot of errors. This latest batch seemed to have a problem with writing to the second layer.
